WTGS -- PBGS 15th Annual Invitational Skeet Shoot
Friday & Saturday, August 22-23th, 2008

It’s the Fiftteenth Anniversary of the WTGS-PBGS Skeet Shoot sponsored by the Permian Basin Geophysical Society and the West Texas Geological Society. Grab your shotguns and let’s go out and break a few "skeets". Let the chips fall where they may. We expect another good crowd this year so sign up early.

This year, along with a dues statement and officer election ballot, WTGS members will also be asked to vote on proposed changes to the bylaws, as explained below by President Elect Tim Hunt.

The WTGS website has been updated and upgraded. Members are now allowed to view and edit their own membership contact information, retrieve historical WTGS documents, submit GeoJobs, and a plethora of other functions. Not only is the site more functional, user friendly, and modern looking; it also has the capability to expand well into the future as WTGS continues to grow and Members need more function from their society's internet connection.
